Role Overview

Assist with day-to-day operations for mobile petting zoo events and targeted grazing (goat landscaping) services. This role involves animal care, transport, setup, and client interaction on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Animal Care & Handling: Feed, water, handle, and monitor goats and livestock during transportation and events.

  • On-Site Operations: Set up and tear down temporary fencing, portable pens, and event displays safely.

  • Event Supervision: Engage with event guests, educate the public on animal behavior, and ensure safety guidelines are followed.

  • Targeted Grazing: Monitor livestock progress on vegetation management jobs and ensure secure site containment.

  • Transportation: Safely transport livestock and equipment to and from event locations and grazing sites.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience handling livestock or working in animal care preferred.

  • Ability to lift heavy equipment (fencing, feed bags) and work outdoors in varied weather conditions.

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor for public-facing events.
